Pros
Only pro I personally can think of is flexibility. You cannot work from home but if you have kids you can take them to school and pick them up or take them to doctors appointments without freaking out about getting to work on time.
Cons
Where do I begin. Workload, unable to hire staff because we never meet metrics but yet we never meet metrics because we are all overwhelmed with work. Management, same song and dance played every single time we ask for more bodies in the office. Coworkers, not bad but some people do not deserve a paycheck when all they do is sit and talk on personal phone calls all day or are on their cell phones playing all day.
