Pros

Good Infrastructure Good ILP program(ALPHA training)

Cons

I joined UST as a fresher....Once I had completed my training, I got the call from the project...There was only one Christian from Chennai other than me ....That's why I got the first call in my freshers ILP batch... They made me sit idle for more than 1 year and they gave me the training after that only....I joined on Nov 2014 but I was assigned task only on Jan 2016....but then they recruited a fresher, a native Malayalee Christian and then they tortured me to give the KT which I received in the entire last year within 30 days to her....I took the issue to the HR...but those cowards instead of taking any action against them,,,, they tried to corner me and forced me to resign

Pros

Work/life balance is both practiced and preached by leadership. Kindness, is something you don't find often in multinational companies, but I can honestly say that UST is kind to ALL of their employees, contractors and partners. Their core belief system starts with people and goes from there. Refreshing to say the least in an industry dominated by cutthroat tactics.

Cons

I would like to see the compensation reflected a little more in line with the economy, but I understand that the type of growth UST has seen would not be possible if compensation rose. I'll trade kindness and job security over a couple of percentage points any day of the week. Life is too short to hate where you work.

Pros

One of the things I value most about UST is the people. I have worked with supportive colleagues and leaders who are approachable and willing to help when needed. If you take ownership of your work and consistently deliver, you are trusted with greater responsibilities rather than being micromanaged. The company offers exposure to global clients, diverse technologies, and teams across different regions, which keeps the work interesting and helps you grow professionally. Learning opportunities are available for those who actively seek them out, and I have always felt encouraged to share ideas and improve the way we work. Like any large organization, your experience will depend on your project and manager, but overall I have found UST to have a collaborative culture where people genuinely work together to solve problems and support each other's success.

Cons

Cons Work life balance can vary depending on the project. Some delivery phases require extended hours, but better planning during peak periods would help.
