Pros

none i can think of

Cons

I was part of Adobe IT for about 4 years. Adobe decided to lay off their internal IT department again. They did this many years ago and went with EDS who failed and they brought IT back in again. UST took over the contract this time. Upon talking to management during the hiring process they laughed about how expensive the bay area is to live in. Then they proceeded to chuckle as they commented how my salary is what they pay senior DEVOPS engineers. I said "In India or Indiana because its not bay area pay rate." They initially offered me matching pay. Verbally over the phone and then he sent me an email with the details. I accepted and filled out the paperwork. 3 Days later they come back and offer me what i was making 5 years ago. Overall 25% less per year. I tried to negotiate with them to no avail. They didn't even greet my emails with hello or hi. Do you want this job or not? I accepted but cant wait to leave.

Pros

I have been associated with UST for almost 12 years, starting my journey as a Tester and currently serving as a Senior Project Manager. Looking back, the growth opportunities provided by the organization have been remarkable. One of the biggest strengths of UST is its people-first culture. The leadership team is approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in employee success. Throughout my career, I have received continuous encouragement to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills, and move into leadership roles. The company places significant emphasis on employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development. I have had opportunities to work across different domains, engage with global clients, and grow both technically and managerially. What makes UST special is the trust it places in its employees and the collaborative culture that exists across teams. It’s a place where dedication and performance are recognized, and individuals are given opportunities to shape their own career paths

Cons

As with any large organization, some processes could be streamlined for faster decision-making.
