Pros

UST global is a company that is filled with people who are early into their career They have a very relaxed culture that enable employees to take time off when needed

Cons

Overtime was promised as a regular thing however it is sparsely available Employee's are let go soon after being hired, without warning, and seemingly without care for the employees themselves Compensation will not be increased unless you are vital to operations, all others are expendable "Contracts Workers" receive no benefits and although it is said that wage will be renegotiated it will not be you will simply get a new exactly the same contract with no new benefits wages or even sick time. You will receive minimal training

Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts with us. UST regularly evaluates compensation/salary structure to ensure we remain competitive. Through the annual revision process we have an opportunity to review and revise salaries. Regarding overtime pay, we process OT pay for all eligible employees. To ensure work and life are balanced, we expect employees to discuss the need to work overtime and secure pre-approvals from their manager if that is required to complete tasks assigned. We also encourage managers to regularly monitor workloads to ensure work is evenly distributed between team members. Employee engagement and development is a top priority for us, and we are committed to providing comprehensive training through our inhouse learning and development wing - GAMA. Additionally we have partnered with world-class E-learning platforms to provide employees access to a wide range of tech and non-tech courses. We would love to opportunity to speak with you in more detail. Please email us at HR@ust.com to schedule time to discuss.

Pros

Work/life balance is both practiced and preached by leadership. Kindness, is something you don't find often in multinational companies, but I can honestly say that UST is kind to ALL of their employees, contractors and partners. Their core belief system starts with people and goes from there. Refreshing to say the least in an industry dominated by cutthroat tactics.

Cons

I would like to see the compensation reflected a little more in line with the economy, but I understand that the type of growth UST has seen would not be possible if compensation rose. I'll trade kindness and job security over a couple of percentage points any day of the week. Life is too short to hate where you work.

Pros

One of the things I value most about UST is the people. I have worked with supportive colleagues and leaders who are approachable and willing to help when needed. If you take ownership of your work and consistently deliver, you are trusted with greater responsibilities rather than being micromanaged. The company offers exposure to global clients, diverse technologies, and teams across different regions, which keeps the work interesting and helps you grow professionally. Learning opportunities are available for those who actively seek them out, and I have always felt encouraged to share ideas and improve the way we work. Like any large organization, your experience will depend on your project and manager, but overall I have found UST to have a collaborative culture where people genuinely work together to solve problems and support each other's success.

Cons

Cons Work life balance can vary depending on the project. Some delivery phases require extended hours, but better planning during peak periods would help.
