Pros
The company is very much about the customer and also seeing employees learn and grow. I realize it can be dependant upon who your Manager is, but in general, I think leadership does care about seeing employees progress their careers at U.S. Cellular. A lot of emphasis is placed on culture although sometimes I think that gets in the way of making decisions as quickly as often needed. While it's good, I think it holds the company back competitively at times. Good benefits. Work-life balance ebbs and flows based on customer demands.
Cons
The wireless industry is competitive and also saturated. Workplace flexibility can feel nonexistent depending on the department you sit in. Senior Leadership seems to have an old school approach to flexibility. It would be nice to see the company leverage the technology we sell for workplace engagement and flexibility.
