Pros
The benefits are excellent and currently, if you retire from UT Southwestern with at least ten years' service you earn health insurance at whatever cost an employee would pay. The university currently pays the entire cost for employee coverage if you are a non smoker.
Cons
Internally, processes and procedures are often created by people who don't actually do the tasks and there's lost productivity as a result.
