Pros

TIAA retirement savings where UTP matches what you put in BUT only after you complete your 5th year. Some of the other clinics, not TMC, are easier to work with. Reps bring breakfast or lunches. Yearly reviews, but sometimes very small raises...cents!

Cons

Every yr you get a review. For two yrs in a row, no raises were given due to opening many more clinics around Houston. The following year, I received a $0.27 raise! WTH! Work is demanding, sometimes you don't eat or you eat while your catching up on phone messages and your clocked out. They don't let you do any overtime, unless the practice manager approves the Dr's request. When your ready to take a personal day off, you have to find someone to back you up. It's like I worked and earned time off and now I have to find someone to cover me? Ridiculous! Another thing...too many clicks. The whites cover each other, the Latinas stick together and the Afro Americans stay with their group and aren't very nice, although they talk about each other. So much drama and the young MA's are lazy! This is at TMC. And parking is $13/day in garage or you have to find a parking lot, wait for the tran or bus and either get there early or running late.
