Pros

I enjoy my work and the people I work with in spite of the low pay and poor treatment.

Cons

Management expects a level of respect that they aren't willing to reciprocate. Lower and mid-level managers are not all qualified to be managers and often don't have respect for individual contributors down the chain. Seniority is based solely on tenure, not on qualifications or experience.
