Pros
The best part was my co-workers, discounts, and playing with make-up all day. You get marginal increases in your pay and it does add up over time. My managers were lenient and understanding for the most part. My co-workers and discounts were the best part of the job.
Cons
They do increase your pay as time goes on, which is nice, but it's not much to begin with. I took a lot of strange passive aggression from certain customers and management did not step up for me at times. There is also a culture of favoritism in upward promotion (company-wide). I wasn't looking to move up in the company, but if you are bear that in mind.
