Business Outlook
Pros
Great growth company with a strong brand and internal culture. Strong growth in overall sales and in store count really makes Ulta a very stable choice. The pay for corporate is strong and the senior management team is very engaged and collaborative.
Cons
This is a very high growth company and as a result, is very difficult to work for. LOTS of overtime, stress and pressure is put on the teams. IT there is a very difficult place to work with very high demands for all employees and a true lack of work-life balance. The management team is focused on trying to improve things but I have seen a number of really good people completely fail at Ulta so anyone joining really should be confident that they can succeed in that type of environment.
