Pros

I was a little skeptical when I first started working at the store because I had never worked in that kind of retail environment before. However, the training was extremely throrough and I appreciated being encouraged to test out all the products without having to buy them. Management feedback was very helpful, especially during the learning process since there are so many things to learn about cosmetics.

Cons

Moody customers and strict enforcement of dress code (which wasn't even that difficult to maintain, there was just little leeway). Also, if a customer wanted to do a return, a keyholder had to be buzzed up to the front, which could take awhile and make customers even more annoyed.

Pros

Great discount Gratis is good but having worked for Sephora as well, theirs is way better. Fun customers most of the time

Cons

Glorified babysitter when your team is incompetent Store can quickly become a wreck when one manager isn’t pulling their weight Too many hats in this role and way too overbearing. I thought I’d need to see a neurologist for migraines but it turns out I was just way too stressed in my role. ai. And a big push for more and more ai in the future.
