ulta is a growing company and has room for advancment. they understand the need for work/life balance. The appearance of the store is pleasent and inviting. the management has for the most part has a positive attitude. the benefits are great. For retail they are very generous with time off as well as the hours you are expected to work
Cons
The managment sturcture has changed several times in the past year making it difficult to move up within the company... they are editing management postions limiting your growth opportinuties. There is not enough regional managament.. I worked in a remote market, where all of the management staff was new and we only saw our regional manager 4 or 5 times in a year... she would often be short with the staff and then compain that she was being stretched too thin
