Pros

Gratitude/ free makeup was very nice. But managers toke the best picks first.

Cons

Lake of communication between managers. EXTREMLY high turn over rate. No matter how hard working, or passionate you are for the company, they will not promote you. Do not work well with other schedules. had to work nights for a whole week, which really messes up sleep schedule. Doing truck at 5 am. And by the end of your shift you will be DEAD. scheduled till 10 pm, but won't get out until 1 in the morning! if you work for ulta, you can NOT have a family, or a life outside of work! Getting free makeup is great, don't get me wrong. But it will not pay your bills. managers are over worked, and too much is expected out of them. Because of managers being under valued and taken for granite, they will not be very pleased to work with. I strongly believe anyone with an amazing work ethic will be worked to the bone and taken and advantage of, until they snap. being a manager for ulta beauty will effect your soul. and your home life. They expect each guest gets "customer service", but in reality they have no clue what that means. I'm a strong believer in customer service and we are trained to do everything but that. Corporate will judge you on your apperance. Fact.

Pros

Great discount Gratis is good but having worked for Sephora as well, theirs is way better. Fun customers most of the time

Cons

Glorified babysitter when your team is incompetent Store can quickly become a wreck when one manager isn’t pulling their weight Too many hats in this role and way too overbearing. I thought I’d need to see a neurologist for migraines but it turns out I was just way too stressed in my role. ai. And a big push for more and more ai in the future.
