Pros

My only pros are the others I worked with and the free product.

Cons

We were supposed to get a bonus for hitting our yearly sales goal, never got it. I was expected to bend over and let customers do whatever they wanted and accept returns, even for items we didn't carry, because our GM "didn't want to fight" with them. I was told by our GM to commit fraud (I refused) when processing returns. The store was dusty, messy and we NEVER had enough hours to have enough staff to get any of the work done that was expected to get done. The salon staff were rude, unhelpful and called off work CONSTANTLY and the GM didn't care and would alter their timecards. Our GM was fired for timeclock fraud (her own timecard), and we were all told to basically pretend it didn't happen. I worked over 75 hours in one week because we didn't have enough staff and no one cared enough to do anything about it except make the managers fill in. I would NEVER recommend anyone work here. You're underpaid (cashiers barely made $10/hours and we were encouraged to offer them basically pennies), customers get free reign to yell at you, and you watch people steal product all the time and you cannot do anything about it.

Pros

Gratis There are good hard working people that want to do well. I am still there (barely) because I haven’t completely given up that things will be handled/addressed correctly for those not aligned with company vision and expectations. However after 5 years of inaction it’s hard to believe that positive change will actually and maybe just maybe Myself and others that are dedicatedI will be recognized vs taken for granted.

Cons

No furthering development Keep toxic (leaders especially) allowing unacceptable behavior conduct and violation of company code Communication is very poor…it’s inconsistent,For example managers are not provided with direct email accounts so it’s a community email box. This causes a large amount of information to be read by the wrong audience and is not communicated if read by the wrong leader
