Pros
Easy job that doesn’t require a lot of physical work.
Cons
Consistently hires new employees at higher rates than old ones and doesn’t give long-term employees raises to match. They encourage you to quit and get re-hired to get a raise because it’s easier than actually getting HR to approve it. It’s a decent short term job, but long term you’ll be stuck making close to what they hired you for, while newer employees are making anywhere from $1-4/hr more than you. When you ask them to adjust it, they’ll tell you it’s a long process and that HR will deny it a few times first and tell you it will take a lot of patience. I’ve been told a few times that they are aware of the issue and that all the other long-term employees have had to deal with this as well. They also tend to cut hours for the older employees in favor of scheduling the new ones for training. They often change your schedule by adding, changing or taking away shifts without notice. This can happen anytime from the week of to the same day as your shift. They expect you to check WorkJam daily to see if your shifts have changed rather than scheduling for 2 weeks out and leaving it as is. This makes it very hard to make plans outside of work, or have multiple jobs.
