Pros
Pretty good discount, gratis, lunch break, and the days go fast. It's fun to help customers with makeup (when you actually have enough time to do so)
Cons
How can I even begin to explain the cons? Poor work/life balance, poor upper management, idiotic HR policies, overly hormonal work environments. If you are a female, who, like me, does not like to deal with petty drama and other females, then STAY FAR AWAY. I was trying to train and develop our lead cashier, and when I caught her hiding in the backroom, she waited until I had two days off to basically make up a whole bunch of lies about me, which my GM took as gospel and WROTE ME UP FOR without even talking to me! They don't back their middle management at all. I have wayyyy too much retail management experience to deal with Ulta's stupid mind-games and murderous payroll expectations. DO NOT WORK FOR ULTA.
