Pros

Interesting technology and adequate working environment and flexible working hours.

Cons

One of the most awful experiences I've had working at a company by far. The culture is one of employees almost being encouraged to inform on one another. If you're looking for sense of "Teamwork", this is definitely not the place for you. Conversations you have with colleagues, even overheard ones, or those outside of work, can land you in serious trouble. My advice to ANYONE working on site, is to say nothing, be exceptionally careful about what you say and how you say it and mindful of anyone around you. Even the most innocuous of things, could be misinterpreted and lead to serious ramifications. If you get the option to work remotely, choose that and attend the offices only when absolutely necessary and keep your head down. This is just a friendly heads up so that you know what you're getting into.

Pros

1) Smaller company feel with more opportunities to advance your career faster than a large company. 2) Generally positive changes from leadership the last 3 years. 3) Growth outlook for all sites is very good. Current ownership is focused on growing the business.

Cons

There has been a lot of change over the years - acquisitions and leadership changes. The company will be sold again soon. However, Advent doesn't like to sell to sharks who will steal the technology and let go of the people. Advent has a reputation to uphold in that regard. A lot of the negative reviews came from sudden culture changes a few years ago. Many benefits and policies are now in line with industry standards, for better or worse.
