Pros

None. Management needs to revamp the entire hiring process.

Cons

Took forever to actually get a real interview, then months to get an assessment. They waste people's time and have no concern for them. Zero feedback was given during the entire process, even though I had a desire to improve. Extremely evasive when asking for how long a decision would take.

Thank you for your feedback. This year, our average time-to-hire is 44.5 days (meaning it takes 44.5 days on average from the time a candidate first applies for a job to when they receive a job offer). Clearly, we want this number to be lower and the recruiting process to be shorter, and we’re working on making sure that the process doesn’t take much longer for even a single job applicant.Linked inside the job description/posting is a Recruitment Overview document outlining our recruitment process, company benefits, and availability of accommodations upon request. Our recruitment process has been designed to be as objective as possible by blending interviews with assessments. Such a process does require some additional time. At each stage, candidates are informed about their next step and an anticipated timeline. Email follow up with the recruitment team is always welcomed and responses are sent in a timely manner.

Pros

* Friendly co-workers and management. * Client work is usually interesting, and most clients are easy to work with. * Invested in employee psychological safety and has innovated tools to track and resolve issues affect psychological safety. Specifically, they present themselves as being genuinely interested in hiring neurodivergent people.

Cons

* Has been struggling financially and to retain clients for the past 2.5 years, leading to them having hemorrhaged a sizable portion of their staff in that period through many rounds of layoffs. * Seems more interested in hiring "expert partners" and outside skilled people from elsewhere in the industry as consultants than developing and training internal talent. * Some clients and client projects are duds, and unpleasant to work on, due to both the nature of the work, client expectations, and personalities of client contacts, and Engagement/Quality Managers on projects aren't always effective at sufficiently advocating for Ultranauts team members when issues come up. * Company/senior management is heavily interested in getting into federal contracts and working with the (current) federal government of the United States, despite all the current instability and hostility towards autism and neurodivergence associated with the current administration.
