Pros

In my time with Ultranauts, I've worked with good people and acquired new skills.

Cons

Wonderful people have joined, but it's too bad when, sometimes, they and the company part ways.

Pros

* Friendly co-workers and management. * Client work is usually interesting, and most clients are easy to work with. * Invested in employee psychological safety and has innovated tools to track and resolve issues affect psychological safety. Specifically, they present themselves as being genuinely interested in hiring neurodivergent people.

Cons

* Has been struggling financially and to retain clients for the past 2.5 years, leading to them having hemorrhaged a sizable portion of their staff in that period through many rounds of layoffs. * Seems more interested in hiring "expert partners" and outside skilled people from elsewhere in the industry as consultants than developing and training internal talent. * Some clients and client projects are duds, and unpleasant to work on, due to both the nature of the work, client expectations, and personalities of client contacts, and Engagement/Quality Managers on projects aren't always effective at sufficiently advocating for Ultranauts team members when issues come up. * Company/senior management is heavily interested in getting into federal contracts and working with the (current) federal government of the United States, despite all the current instability and hostility towards autism and neurodivergence associated with the current administration.
