Pros
-staff is extremely supportive -teachers are celebrated often -administration is quick to implement feedback when its given by staff -teachers and staff care deeply about students - about their academics and character -first year salary was low- this is different next year for 22-23 school year -multiple opportunities for growth as a teacher with professional development on Fridays and in the summer
Cons
-there are no substitute teachers at RPC which can put a lot of pressure on other staff, though I know that RPC is looking for a TA to support teachers on coverage -salary was very low compared to other schools; however, Uncommon Schools reconciled this and adjusted teacher salaries to reflect market value
