Pros

Nice, modern office in the heart of downtown Bellevue. Free parking, snacks, great medical benefits free to the employee and dependents.

Cons

The benefits were not enough to keep me happy at Unify Square. If you want to grow your career, this is not the place. Leadership is stifling and you will have no voice or say over the trajectory of your role or responsibilities. Turnover is high - they are able to attract highly capable individuals, but they are not empowered to make their own decisions. The office environment is open and should be energetic and collaborative, but speaking out loud is highly discouraged -- the environment is depressing and draining. There is no process for recognition, no salary increases, and no track for career advancement.

Pros

Unify Square was one of the best places I have worked in my career so far. The culture is unbeatable - I felt included as part of the team from day one, everyone seemed to genuinely care about their coworkers, work life balance was on point, the benefits were outstanding, and the product brings real value to customers. Because the company is small there can be blurred lines around job responsibilities. If you like to take a proactive approach and get your hands dirty, this is a great place to do just that - employees are allowed to take real ownership over their projects and can easily get involved in cross-departmental projects to gain new experience and skills. This also makes it a great place to get experience if you're looking to break into the tech industry.

Cons

Career growth within the company can be difficult due to its smaller size. The company may not be the right fit for those who like well-established processes.
