Pros

The overall work culture is good..good work life balance however most of the facilities & policies are for managers. WL1 has slow or no growth...the performance ratings are normalized which is a big negative...women employees joining back from MAT leave have to struggle to save their jobs as there is no support or clarity on their roles either from LM or HR.HR is biased & is only for managers...due to which many of them had to leave their jobs

HR is biased & does not support WL1. They don't have growth plan.

Pros

Hard to find any pros now... nice new office with a view, Good products. Company store. Good stamp on the resume (I guess).

Cons

UL has lost its way. Used to be an exceptional company when it fundamentally was ethical, environmental and prioritized Customer and employee service. Its now clear that the company is being milked by the board for money. Layoffs, sketchy financial activity, disconnected leadership structures with no feedback loops. Office politics are rampant and you cant get promoted, UL creates their own "glass ceiling" to limit promotions. Multiple divestitures over the past years.
