Pros
Coworkers are family. Pay is decent.
Cons
They are so short staffed if you are a bedside nurse, they will not allow you to go into management even if you are qualified. Raises, health insurance, and company benefits are a joke. Self scheduling only works out is you are a favorite. Unit managers are stick in their ways. Management as a whole is disconnected with the reality of what happens in patient care. No pay raise for getting BSN or any other degrees. To get a raise for education, you must do the PACE program which requires a rediculous amount of extracurricular activities and isn't worth the time. Many old prudes in management.
