Pros
Employees are the best part. However, they mostly are tied by the pension and you never know when your career will be cut short by what company sees in your department.
Cons
A lot of work but with extremely ill leveled teams that do not have time to be sick/off/family time. Senior staff are so out of touch and can not listen anymore on opposite views from employees. The employees are no longer to most important assets of the company, the board is. The purpose of the company is no longer clear. So many mission statements that no one is inspired anymore. We have so many AVPS. And AVPs/VPs are so dispensable these days, we toss them like used papers. It is not inspiring for downstream employees to want to be promoted as going to be just as used papers. We also have too many re-orgs every few months and no one knows who is doing what anymore. PSR might have saved some money for the company, but it also wiped out the health of the company and the loyalty from the employees. It's a sad story for a great historical company.
