Pros

None that one can think of.

Cons

Many They seem to be believeing that press releases and top level hires will solve the issue. Real problems need real people, not a bunch of hi profile sales and marketing. Just look at the leadership team. No one has any Speech/Machine learning background that they claim to solve. Unethical practices as other mentioned. Using cracked software, smudging data No investment in employees. Employees are just an expendable resource This is all reflected in the job posting too. Check out the opening for Senior Speech Scientist. A scientist role requiring a RFP, RFI, Demo, Sales proposal. Clearly, they are marketing focussed and think a scientist will do marketing also :-) Senior Speech Engineer/Scientist Location / CHENNAI Education / BACHELOR OR MASTERS DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, MBA OR WORK EXPERIENCE IN RELATED FIELD Experience / 7-12 YEARS Responsibilities Should have handled multiple customers through the presales life cycle in the previous assignments acting as one point of contact. Prepare customer/vertical specific sales collaterals Capability presentations, Case studies, Solution documents, Whitepapers etc. by working closely with the respective practice teams. Experience in RFP/RFQ/RFI management, coordinating with delivery & sales team for capturing the responses and a good understanding of End to End sales life cycle. Handling product Demo presentation and must be able to highlight the core value proposition of Uniphore’s solutions. Must be able to both functional and technical sessions of the demo. Must be able to prepare detailed scope documents for various stages covering overall engagements, statement of work and other relevant details.

Pros

not much, free lunch. CEO is running this company.

Cons

NO transparency or Trust with CEO and his team; depressing culture; Board has no idea what is happening internally; most employees are looking for other jobs; horrible reputation the valley- the don't pay bills or vendors for months on end. CEO is completely out of touch with how to run a company and has no care for the employees; constant revolving door of C-suite leaders. TOXIC Environment!
