Pros
As 1 of many 3rd parties out there, Unishippers stands out because of the spectrum of services they offer. There is a UPS partnership which i believe only one other 3rd party has, LTL, FTL, and recently added LTL International. This really helps when you walk in to a door and they need solutions in various departments. Like any other sales career, you have to put in time and effort to gain success. They have recognition for top performers for all who qualify, not just top top 3 , top 5, top 10 etc... if you reach a goal you win a trip and cash, pretty neat incentive for being good at your job. Most franchises have great customer support , which can relieve sales with customer retention and allow sales to close more and more business!
Cons
Because of so many services provided, there may be information overload for a person who know nothing about shipping, which can cause some personnel become a little impatient. I dont feel we lead in technology or fall behind it, but it could be a little better from internal use to customer use.
