Pros
Beautiful office space and most up to date technology. kind people who i think truly do want the company to succeed.. pretty straightforward product and career path. day to day was cumbersome for me but if you enjoy routine and not much creativity or freedom in how you’d like to find clients, aka consistency and not veering off far from that, then it’ll be great for you. if you enjoy happy hours and that kind of college frat vibe then great spot too. expect to be working 24/7 in order to succeed, so if you’re a grinder and don’t necessarily prioritize work/life balance then you will be successful here.
Cons
for me, i was promised one idea of great work/life balance, hybrid schedule after 8-week training, and freedom to be creative with how i wanted to find clients and that quickly changed. they are still a new company working out the kinks so i can understand the shift. it is a very small franchise under the name of a larger company selling the same product so not much control or impact in the actual industry of the product and service offered (though they made it seem as if there was in the beginning, in my confusion i suppose). i felt very micromanaged, and as a headstrong individual that collapsed pretty quickly. i went to chat about considering different options for myself based on my personality type and motivational quirks, but was quickly shut down and told that i just didn’t fit the mold. the mold being someone who can work like a dog, juggle 50 expectations at once, all while trying to learn the actual product and service with managers that exhibit micromanaging tendencies. it’s frustrating because there is a lot of potential here, but it won’t change because the belief system is rooted from the top down. so if this structure and environment works for you, then go for it! great learning opportunity and experience to build from.
