Pros
Contributing to the health of the community, decent health /dental benefits. Tuition forgiveness for some types of employees.
Cons
Depending on your role and the department you work in, your experience may not be a good one. Management in the HIM department are not qualified to be there and treat their employees like second rate citizens. Plan on being blamed for everything, gaslighted if you complain, and your supervisor and department manager not being held accountable for their lack of competence and professional integrity, and blatant irresponsibility. They also say they want to hire within for new advancement opportunities but won't even give you an interview and hire vendors instead. Low flexibility with work schedule. Can no longer work from home in certain departments.
