when the organization gives you a list of VIPs in an e-mail and tells you if you receive a request from them, drop everything, you realize something is seriously wrong; operations coddles providers like babies; the organization doesn't stick to their project plans because of the VIP list, so everyone is constantly shifting priorities unnecessarily and working ridiculous hours; management doesn't care about anything other than 'get the job done' attitude. no work-life balance.
