Pros

Pay is good for location. Benefits are good but a little costly. Vacation time is accrued base on time employeed and how many hours you work. Longterm, full time employees get more than enough vacation time. Opportumitiets to transfer with in UHS to different department if you are looking for a change/promotion.

Cons

health insurance is made to make it so you if you choose to go outside of UHS for care you pay ALOT. Sometimes theres a doctor you've had and want to keep, if there not UHS thats sometimes hard. There is NO options for health ins. its one plan. Managment from the new food and nutrtion company can be difficult to work with.

Pros

- Fun and engaging with patients - Other NAs and RNs are very nice - Pretty good base and differential pay - Per diem requirements are not too bad - Great for Binghamton/Broome students

Cons

- My car got hit once during a shift in the employee parking lot and I could not get anyone in higher management to care - Some units you can tell have a lot of drama going on and could interfere with the work environment - At times during the night shift, it was incredibly understaffed
