Pros

I would avoid South tower 3. Pay is scale based. Points are given for education and experience however if your pay range is 16-24 and you have 15 years experience but no education, you can most certainly expect 16.00. The management is poor. The role as aides is not supported. You are treated as though you are easily replacable. Staffing is unorganized there are often times where there will be 2 aides to 28 patients. They skipped raises for employees. You do not get paid off performance, so if you work really hard and do every single thing correctly, you might get asked to do more because you're good however your coworker that takes 15 breaks and sits on her phone will get paid the same amount.

Cons

Poor treatment. Poor management. Immature culture.

Pros

- Fun and engaging with patients - Other NAs and RNs are very nice - Pretty good base and differential pay - Per diem requirements are not too bad - Great for Binghamton/Broome students

Cons

- My car got hit once during a shift in the employee parking lot and I could not get anyone in higher management to care - Some units you can tell have a lot of drama going on and could interfere with the work environment - At times during the night shift, it was incredibly understaffed
