Pros

-company truck w/ gas card -Paycheck -set you own schedule -Advancement -experience at a Fortune 500

Cons

The rental business is very rough on sales people. Some have better accounts which helps, but most like me dread it. Here, not only are you an outside sales rep making sales call, finding new customer, quoting deals, making deals, and repeating. You’re also part manager, project manager, mechanic, inside sales, driver, laborer, and door mat. Might not be the same at every location, but we do not have the support we need to run a successful business and I work out of the largest store in the company. We have plenty of employees, but good luck getting someone to do anything that’s not their job. The culture is extremely toxic these days, with no one being able to make a decision on their own and no one having motivation to work. It really is a rough place to work right now.

Pros

Ok pay, insurance and retirement. PTO is very good.

Cons

Yearly raises are the bare minimum. Diesel techs required to take care of parts, scheduling, deliveries, etc with little to no support from management or anyone else. Complete lack of communication from anyone from branch manager up. Not much place for a mechanic to move forward in their career.
