      Management is not qualified for their job positions. If you are good at your job, you will never be promoted they will keep you in that position so their number will look good. If you are terrible at your job, you can move anywhere in the company you would like.

      Pros

      For the most part, United Rentals is a great company to work for. They care about their employees & promote growth from within.

      Cons

      The RELIABLE ONSITE SERVICES division is a total and complete DISGRACE to United Rentals name due to the Management team. Over worked and under-paid. Drivers should never come close to exceeding their DOT hours. Service trucks continuously break down, sometimes for weeks at a time. Promises are made by management but are not carried out. The way routes are dispatched is completely not efficient nor achievable. Employee's are moved in to the wrong positions.
