      Opportunity for advancement, great benefits and pay, good hours and management that listens, understands and accommodates. Regular reviews and goal advancement, and job opportunities are always available.

      Cons

      industry is inherently gendered, personal advancement is self-driven (no mentors or laid-out career path) workload can be heavy during busy season.

      Pros

      Ok pay, insurance and retirement. PTO is very good.

      Cons

      Yearly raises are the bare minimum. Diesel techs required to take care of parts, scheduling, deliveries, etc with little to no support from management or anyone else. Complete lack of communication from anyone from branch manager up. Not much place for a mechanic to move forward in their career.
