Pros
Some good people, and some good technology
Cons
This company seems to be having an identity crisis. At their core, they are a decent company assisting legal professionals. But I don't think this is enough for the CEO, who wants to be seen as a pioneering tech guru. The perception of the company has become more important than what the company is doing. It seems a little delusional, and very much ego driven. UntitedLex pretends to care about work/life balance, but given workloads, most people have to work many extra (and unpaid) hours to get their work done. Management knows this, but turns a blind eye. When you request days off, you have to say whether you are available by phone or email. Many of the positive reviews on here are short, and lacking detail - and often follow quickly after negative reviews, which suggests they were written by HR, which again shows that the perception is seen as more important than the substance.
