Pros
There are some hard working teachers doing what they can for who they can.
Cons
No social workers or counselors
They opened a "south campus" even though the "central" campus is under staffed
Admin is often absent, either MIA or at the south campus
New students are added and dropped with no advanced notice to teachers
EAs receive little to no training, sleep on the job, are constantly on their phone, or just get up and leave when they want.
UACS touts itself as ELL focused but we have no ELL coordinator, our lowest students (in terms of english literacy) have get maybe an hour of specialized tutoring a week.
School provided curriculum for some grades and classes don't align with state standards at all.
