Pros

The company benefits are great, when you work in the division you are lucky to meet interesting and exciting people. Depending on which division you work in, the upper management communicates with staff regularly. My division was strong on meetings and emails. Got to meet a great bunch of artists, management and be a part of good projects.

Cons

Favoritism is the only way to get promoted..it doesn't matter how much work you do they will pass you over for a promotion unless you take on roles that only the president will notice. The long hours and extended hours leave little wiggle room for family time. Extremely a cut throat business, and since its the music industry, they have the attitude that anyone will be thrilled to have your job for less.

Pros

Enjoyed learning about new artists/music. Worked with some great, talented colleagues. Benefits were top notch.

Cons

This is a fear-based culture through and through. Most are in a constant state of fight or flight. I’d never experienced such a volatile environment which was largely driven from the top. Huge pay disparity between upper management and rest of staff.
