Pros
I love teaching and passing on the knowledge I possess. It is truly heart warming to me to have so many student come back to me (at some later date in time) and have them thank me for everything I did to help them out.
Cons
When you work out in the Field as an Automotive Technician you are making more money and its hard to adjust to less pay when you have always made more. The raises are small and I'm one of the top performers there as an Instructor. I have been there over 7 years and I have only had like a total of $3.00 in raises. Due to the high inflation rates in Houston that is no where near enough. There is no way to move up either. All the management positions have been occupied the entire time I have been there without any indications any of them will be vacating any time soon.
