Pros

I loved almost everyone I worked with. Great pay.

Cons

The company has steadily gone down hill. It is well over priced for the education, or should I say lack of education it provides its students. UTI use to mean something in the industry but almost no one is happy there any longer. I still have many friends that continue because the salary is extremely good, but everyone I know is miserable. If you Google reviews from past and current instructors you will get an ear full as to what all the issues are. Admissions is unhappy, management always have a "deer in the headlight" look and the instructors are unhappy. Now honestly, do you really think everyone is giving their all and students are getting what they deserve? Read reviews from students....that will tell you the whole story. UTI is another example of what is wrong in the For-Profit school industry. Sucking off the Government Federal Student Aid programs while giving little of value in return. It is very sad that is has sunk so low from the glory days of 2003 to 2010 when the company value of "Changing the world one life at a time" actually meant something. That is an empty phrase now.

Pros

The interview, where things are positive and promising,

Cons

Be prepared to work 24/7, Manager calls on evenings to jump on a teams call, calls on weekends regularly to micromanage calls etc. Management is a overbearing, micro-manager with a massive ego problem. Just because we share a military background does not mean we will tolerate such poor behavior. Over 10 HR complaints against this man, he continues to be protected, supported and defended by upper Management. Micromanagement on all levels. 2 hour (unnecessary) team meetings which is his time to hear himself talk. Brings his wife to work and on work lunches despite several complaints about this. Wife thinks everyone wants to have a relationship with him, Sis, we are trying to figure out WHY you are. Hard pass on this position and this company.
