Pros
If you are a student looking for something to do while in the area, being a TA is a great choice! My work was mostly remote and I was able to set my own times. In person hours were communicated to me in advance!
Cons
I was paid as a student assistant/worker, so my hourly rate was quite lower than how much one may be able to make in other summer jobs.
