      Pros

      USU has excellent lab facilities in all domains. Very vibrant as it is filled with many international students and hence is a cusp of many cultures. I belong to the college of engineering, Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering which again is one of the best colleges in United States. Go Aggies!

      Cons

      Many challenges have come by while studying. Most of the professors leave with bigger opportunities elsewhere hence has low funding opportunities for international students. USU is in Logan city, which has no many industries for most of the majors and hence relocation is a must.

      Pros

      Academia is a more relaxed atmosphere than a for profit business. Most of the people I work with are very kind. And the summers are amazingly quiet.

      Cons

      The pay is very low. My position was just created and the base pay is $50k. However, the raises here only come if you leave your position and move to a different division within the university. It is commonly said that if you want a raise or a promotion you have to go somewhere else.
