Pros

Growing company with a lot of potential to become a household brand. Great place to learn the art of acquisition in eCommerce. Founders embrace self-learning and hustle. Never a boring day at V Shred. Must thrive in environments where you need to pivot quickly, test, learn, and adjust. If you are someone that has the ability to add real business value you will be embraced at this company. There is some amazing talent and V Shred; and the customer stories we saw daily is the real proof there is something bigger possible at V Shred. I'd encourage you to join their Men's or Women's Facebook group to really see the impact you will have on peoples lives. Once you join V Shred there is also a great program called V Pulse where you can talk to customers via Zoom and learn everything about their journey, their struggle, and why they use V Shred for achieving their fitness goals.

Cons

Like most growth companies, V Shred is working on improving their technical debt so they can scale to the next level. Again, being able to add value during times of transition or pivots is critical to excelling here. Huge opportunity for the right mindset, but if you are looking for a consistent, normal, average place to work - this is not for you. Speed and urgency is embraced by leadership - it's up to you to take advantage of this and contribute.

Remote work, flexible hours, that's about it

Cons

From the top down this company is an absolute disaster. After being employed with them since 2021, I was laid off abruptly in June of this year. The company has been through through mass layoffs since September of last year and continues to replace W2 employees with temp workers without any form of training prior to it. -Minimal communication between departments. -An absolute disaster with trying to shift over to AI models. -Terrible pay with minimal room to grow within the company -Incredibly unprofessional management who do not care about the employees -Expected to work beyond full time hours while being in a 35% pay cut for nearly a year. -Shady marketing tactics This company is truly suffering right now and its as plain as day. It used to be a wonderful company to work for but everything changed for the worse.
