Great President, and many people that take the success of the company personally

Cons

upper management squabbles that are very apparent to employees lower in the chain. outdated processes. mid-management bottlenecks and skullduggery. Atmosphere created by mid-management is more CYA (cover your A**) in comparison to lets recognize a problem and develop a solution.

Work autonomously, no micromanaging. Lots of diverse projects to work on. Ability to cross-train with different disciplines/products.

Cons

Because it is an engineering firm, not a manufacturing plant, they do small batch orders. So, there is a constant scramble to figure things out, find equipment, etc.
