Pros
VACCO has some really interesting projects from space to navy applications. For the most part, everyone is very nice, helpful and easy to get along with. As a small company, there are many opportunities to learn very quickly.
Cons
Management is extremely disconnected from those on the floor. Some do not take the time to understand what is going on and to relate the their employees which is causing resentment. They are a company that is trying to break into bigger business, but is not looking ahead to put systems in place to accommodate the larger business and this is also putting a strain on the relationship between the people on the floor and management. The president needs to open his eyes or get replaced for real change to benefit this company.
