      Pros

      VAST is a transparent culture with a big ownership mentality. There are minimal rules, minimal policies. At the same time it's a highly supportive and collaborative environment. Everyone from Renen on down is available to help with anything needed. We have very little pride of titles here. Merit means a lot more here than "diversity," as it should. The result is a relatively small number of employees building a company with a trajectory unlike anything I've seen in my career.

      Cons

      It's not for everyone. But for people who love a challenge and want to leave a mark and build a great company then VAST is the place to be.

      Pros

      High pay and massive deals for large amounts of commission. And the leadership team is LEGIT.

      Cons

      Source all deals and can be difficult to find deals sometimes.

      Pros

      Customer Support are literal superheroes keeping the product alive. Cool tech and vision.

      Cons

      Terrible pay compared to industry. Terrible quotas (15% of the company made quota, they cancelled club 2x in a row) Product stability No HR / employee support Terrible benefits. Many people use their spouse’s benefits. Stock grants are garbage now. Are we ever going to IPO? “We’re not a hardware company” and we don’t get paid on HW except our entire lives revolve around it. Zero postsales support. You’d better like living in a datacenter, doing your own installs, and everything. They love playing games with expenses.
