      Pros

      Solid company with a healthy culture, generous benefits and great people. I’m given the autonomy to run my business while having plenty of resources and support. The workload is very full but my days fly by with very rewarding work. You can really make a difference here for pet patients and their families.

      Cons

      I can’t think of many cons- the vet med industry is generally taxing on the medical staff due to the nature of ER but VEG offers good benefits and creates a healthy work environment to counter and support mental health concerns. The 24/7 concept means the work never ends so you need to be a strong leader and manager to create balance in this role.

      The only pro I fell into this place was having the open concept flooring.So clients could actually see what we were doing, and they weren't thinking we were just ignoring them

      Cons

      Constantly short-staffed, no compassion for their staff. I lost my father during covid.And I needed a little more time my manager at the time was amazing.But she was replaced while I was out by somebody else who had no compassion.It's very cult like i would definitely say that the management at the location I was at was terrible.That they replaced my original manager with all about the money, not really about the pets, as much as they drill it into your head, they say they are
