Pros
Really smart, earnest people to work with Small, independent agency, so you get to know leadership Good compensation and time off policies Strong design legacy
Cons
Has an identity crisis. One month claims it's only going to after certain kinds of work, and then spends who knows how much money and so many late nights for so many employees chasing work that doesn't even fit the company. Doesn't trust its digital experts to pitch or scope work. Projects are routinely underscoped and understaffed, and high-visibility projects are regularly undermined by one particularly toxic chief design officer with no understanding of digital. There's a slavishness to certain clients that is unhealthy. Layoffs target the low/mid-level employees, and the company remains unhealthily top-heavy. Why have so many people at the top without the creative force you need to get the work done? There used to be a strong culture, but that has fizzled.
