It feels like the company’s pretty top-heavy. Promotions mostly go to folks who are already in the executive group, and the higher-ups seem to hold onto their comfortable positions no matter how things are going. Leadership isn’t always the most effective, and it sometimes feels like decisions are based more on who you know than what you do. There aren’t many designers around, and it’s common to see experienced folks with higher salaries let go, only to have mid-level managers step in and pick up the slack—at least until they start getting paid more too.
