Pros
- Great team. The hiring here is very intentional, especially on the product and engineering teams. Because of this, teams generally get along very well. I personally have made many very good friends here. - Good company culture that is steadily improving. The company sees actual value in investing in it's employee's happiness and is taking more an more steps each quarter to improve it. - Nice benefits and amenities. Snacks, meals, beer, events, relaxing and fun shared spaces... all of these things lead to a nice place to work - The CEO truly listens to his employees and recognizes that his company is where it is at because of the people who work for him. I always feel like I can talk to him like a peer and trust him to lead the company in the right direction because I know he is open to listening to feedback and make the right decisions based on the data/facts.
Cons
- There is still a strong focus on the sales teams over some of the others, but this is quickly changing. It can still be frustrating some times when a sale (large or small) is celebrated but something else just as important not related to sales isn't. - The open floor plan of the office is not for everyone. Some teams (including my own) can sometimes be a little loud, and if you're trying to focus, it can be distracting. The company has recognized this though and is now offering quiet spaces.
