Pros

When I was looking for a new opportunity, I specifically sought out companies that have strong culture and a set of values that aligns with my own. VTS was one of the only companies that really met my standards in that regard, and having been here for 9 months, I can say it's not just lip-service to entice people to join. The culture is incredibly positive while still being focused on results and outcomes. I've never worked somewhere that takes treating its employees well so seriously.

Cons

Typical startup growing pains: some "organizational sprawl," rapidly changing goals and expectations, sometimes lacking in processes that could help things go more smoothly. However, these are suffered to a far lesser degree by VTS compared to other startups I've seen, and the right people will view these as opportunities, not negatives.

- Great work-life balance - You are surrounded by like-minded people who respect your professionalism and perspective on work-life balance. - The Company is currently going through huge transformation, so you will be joining at the right time; the worst part is over. - Tired of cut-throat, performance driven culture? great place to park yourself for few years for high cash comp and piece of mind. - If you are driven / want to make a change, your efforts will be highly valued here. - Great place for entry or mid-level as there will be ample opportunities for you to step up due to constant openings driven by high attrition and layoffs. If you line up well, you will have the fastest promotion tracks in your career. - Great place for people who can navigate corporate culture, read the room, and go with the "flow". your ability to ingratiate, perpetuate and be part of the core culture will be highly rewarded here. - Lots of exceptions, special one-time leeways are given stealthily and regularly. Just ask. - In short, the Company needs more driven, smart people to boost the performance. - You have a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to be part of great transformation and exit story.

- your experience and rewards may vary vastly depending on which department you join, but if you come in with the right mindset, that should not bother you - occasional (but periodic and predictable) layoffs. You will hear rumble and management does a good job of not hiding it
